Seeking a dedicated, NZ registered teacher to join an outstanding team who work with a range of neurodiverse students.


We are accepting applications nationally and will also consider applications from offshore. The Special Needs Educator is responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. This role involves assessing students' abilities, developing tailored instructional strategies, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment to support each student's unique needs.


About the role
We are seeking a teacher who can inspire and engage neurodiverse ORS funded students in learning opportunities that will enable them to reach their potential. The ideal candidate will be trained to understand and address the diverse needs of neurodiverse students. They can tailor educational strategies and resources to help each student reach their potential.

  • Must be qualified and registered with the NZ Teaching Council
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with others
  • Value our children and ensuring a commitment to progress and achievement
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Provide programmes that are active and engaging for students, particularly showing a passion for nature, art and music



In return
The base salary for trained and registered teachers from overseas will range from $55 000 to $90,000, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
