We're on the lookout for a qualified plumber/gasfitter extraordinaire to join a dynamic team in the beautiful coastal haven of Takapuna, Auckland. As the heartbeat of the plumbing operation, you'll be responsible for tackling a diverse range of projects with skill, precision, and a smile.


Responsibilities

  • Installation: Expertly install plumbing systems across various settings, encompassing residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This includes fitting pipes, fixtures, and appliances such as water heaters and gas-powered devices
  • Maintenance and Repair: Execute routine maintenance routines to uphold the optimal functionality of plumbing systems. Diagnose and rectify issues like leaks, obstructions, and other plumbing-related challenges promptly and efficiently
  • Gasfitting Expertise: Carry out gasfitting tasks in adherence to safety protocols, encompassing the installation, upkeep, and restoration of gas lines, meters, regulators, and associated appliances
  • Problem-Solving: Apply keen analytical skills to pinpoint the underlying causes of plumbing and gasfitting complications, devising effective strategies to address and resolve them
  • Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to pertinent codes, standards, and safety regulations to guarantee the reliability and security of plumbing and gas systems. Conduct thorough assessments and tests to verify compliance with regulatory mandates
  • Customer Interaction: Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client queries, elucidating plumbing/gasfitting intricacies and solutions in a comprehensible manner and maintaining professionalism and cordiality in all interactions



Requirements

  • You must be a fully qualified plumber/gasfitter with experience to match - no rookies, please!
  • Proficiency in all aspects of plumbing and gasfitting, from installations to repairs and everything in between
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch workmanship on every job
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach - you're not just fixing pipes, you're building relationships
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to tackle challenges head-on - no job is too big or too small for your plumbing prowess
  • A valid New Zealand driver's license and a clean record - you'll be the plumbing ambassador on the road
