Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in urgent care settings? We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join a dynamic team. As a Registered Nurse in Urgent Care, you will play a crucial role in providing timely and quality care to patients in need of immediate medical attention. This is a full time role.


Requirements

• Previous experience in Emergency Department or Urgent Care
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Triage Certificate
• ACLS Certification
• Cannulation/Venepuncture skills
• Plastering skills
• Proficiency in wound care and dressings
• Applicants MUST HAVE NZ experience - only NZ based nurses with post-registration emergency department/triage experience in NZ will be considered

Responsibilities

• Assessing, triaging, and prioritising patients based on their condition and urgency of care
• Administering medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Providing patient education on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
• Adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
