The role and its duties
Seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter/Welder with AutoCad design skills. The role is crucial with the precise installation of compressed air plants and associated equipment into industrial/manufacturing and commercial sites required around the region as well as within their own workshop operations and outside the region on occasions.

This role is based in the Auckland branch situated in Wiri. Auckland client visits are a requirement as is regional travel from time to time. The role reports to the Auckland Branch Manager as well as the company Director.


Key responsibilities

• Execute precision installation of compressed air plant and equipment with meticulous attention to detail.
• Utilise welding skills and proficiency with hand and power tools to ensure flawless results.
• Apply practical engineering knowledge and fitting experience to tackle diverse challenges effectively.
• Proficiency in CAD design and drawing is a requirement of the role.
• Uphold a high standard of accuracy and finish to meet retail acceptance criteria and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to quality.
• The role requires direct communication with both the internal technical and sales teams as well as clients directly. Your communication skills should enable you to communicate often technically complex information to our clients with relative ease.
